Artisan Details

Via del Poggio Celle sul Rigo - Via Tuzia 10

San Casciano dei Bagni

The Coop of Filo&Fibra is a community of women formed by different but complementary professionals, united to counter the depopulation of small villages through the creation of work and to contribute to the enhancement of the territory and its potential, with a strong vocation for environmental protection.

The cooperative was born in 2018 with support of Tuscany Region and collaboration of the Municipality of San Casciano dei Bagni, to promote initiatives aimed at keeping the local community alive and lively: from tailoring work to summer camps for children, from No-plastic to regeneration of a special waste such as the wool of small local companies, from the recovery of historical memory through the testimonies of the elderly to the discovery of the projects of the new generations.

Filo&Fibra brings innovation and a new vision of tradition through the circular and contamination economy by following simple principles: in traditional materials we find the engine of community evolution and growth. In the ability to transform we seek knowledge and beauty for everyday objects. In the desire for protection, we promote respect for the environment, the reworking and rediscovery of know-how and a sense of belonging. Filo&Fibra has rediscovered an object that belongs to the past, has transformed it and produced an object that is perfectly in line with current needs: the cooking box.

The cooperative has a sales point and laboratory in San Casciano dei Bagni (Via Turzia), a coworking space and a laboratory in the hamlet of Celle sul Rigo (Via del Poggio 5) and an information and sales point in Cetona (Via Roma n. 1 ).
